Commercial Use
Windows
You can use it for free during the beta testing period. I also set the "trial period" as one month, but there is no limit to how long you can continue using the app.
The price will be 550 yen (tax included) per 1 license (1 user).
However, the price is subject to change based on the response from users.
Note that

can use it free of charge as a free license version.
You have free personal use, but if you would like to support us in the form of "support" or "donation", you are welcome to pay so. In that case, you will be issued a registration code, just like a commercial user.
As a result, support for the previous ver. 3 and 2 will be discontinued (Complete termination by April 2022). However, the previous versions will continue to be available free of charge for both personal and commercial use.
macOS
As for the macOS version, anyone (regardless of personal or commercial use) can use it free of charge.
However, this is only for downloads from this website, and any future versions handled by the App Store may be paid for (whether for personal or commercial use).
The price is planned to be about the same as the Windows version.
The reason why downloads from this website, including the macOS version, are free of charge, while downloads from the App Store are paid for, is explained in the next section.
Why commercial use is now paid for?
There are many reasons for this, including the cost of managing and maintaining websites, the cost of continuing software development, especially the cost of "code signing certificates" that are added to executable files to prove that they are safe on Windows and can be installed without warning messages, and, for macOS, the Apple Developer registration fee etc. has become very difficult to cover with the decrease in advertising revenue.
I get a lot of emails about bugs and complaints, but other than that, I don't know what kind of people are using it, and to be honest, I'm loss of motivation.
The source code is released under the GPLv3 license (the macOS version is not open to the public), so there are no restrictions on using it as a stray build. You will only be charged for downloading the software from this official website or the App Store (*Not open to the public as it is currently in beta testing). In other words, please think of it as the cost of the distributed product, including development and maintenance costs, code signing certificate fees, etc.

FAQ
I forgot the password when I encrypted the file. What should I do to decrypt it? Is there any way to decrypt it?
There's nothing I can do. Please give up. For more information, please see the section on Forgot your password.
"An error occurred during file creation. ** failed to generate the file. The decryption process will be aborted." and I cannot decrypt the file properly.
This error message is displayed when you try to create a file named "**" and it cannot be written for some reason. The possible causes are that the file is being edited by another application, or that the file cannot be written to the hard disk or media.
The association setting is not enabled (encrypted file does not become an AttachéCase icon).
If you are logged on as a restricted user in Windows XP or later, the association setting will not be enabled. This is a Windows specification for security reasons. Therefore, if you want to enable the association of encrypted files in AttachéCase, you need to start AttachéCase with administrative privileges ( * Association settings are made at startup).
I output a file in self-executable format in a previous version, but I cannot decrypt it and get an error. I cannot return the file, what should I do?
It was caused by a bug in the attaché case that existed in the previous version. The encrypted file (the content itself) is not corrupted, but there was a problem with the decrypting program. In this case, you can drag and drop the self-executable file (*.exe) into the latest attaché case and decrypt it directly.
During the decryption process, the message "zlib returned an error! Error number: *" and aborted. What is this?
It seems that the library used in the compression process returned an error. The possible causes are that the encrypted file was corrupted during copying to the media, or that editing the target file with another application during the encryption process may create corrupted data.
